Can I extend my 30 day evaluation?

No. Reinstalling the software will not extend the evaluation period. 30 days is usually long enough to test whether or not the software will work for you, but if you would like to use it beyond the 30 days you may purchase it and evaluate it for a further 90 days risk free.

Is there a downloadable demo of WinWedge?

No. Instead of a demo version of WinWedge, we offer a full 90-day money back guarantee. During the first three months, our customers can use and evaluate WinWedge while having access to our free and unlimited technical support. This allows them to quickly and efficiently setup WinWedge with their unique applications and determine if WinWedge is the right tool.

Will I receive updates to products that I have already purchased?

Minor Update
Occasionally we will update a product to fix a problem or we will add a new feature. For all minor releases - you can simply download the latest version of your software, uninstall the existing copy and then install the new version. You should not need to reenter the unlock key and there is no cost for the update.

Major Update
TALtech may charge an upgrade fee for major upgrades. Once you've paid the upgrade fee you are entitled to free minor upgrades for that release stream. For example, if you pay the upgrade fee for B-Coder 4.0 (from B-Coder 3.x), you will be entitled to all minor upgrades in the 4.x release stream.

How do I unlock my software if the evaluation period has ended?

If the 30 day evaluation period is over, you will not be able to get access to the software. Instead, you'll be presented with a window explaining that your trial has ended. Essentially, this is the "About" screen that was outlined in your product's specific unlocking guide. To unlock the software, purchase a license and follow the unlocking guide, noting this slight change.

Once I purchase the software, how do I obtain an unlock code?

After your order is processed, you will be emailed your credentials to access our unlock support system. As this done manually for verification purposes, the email will be sent within normal business hours (Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5 PM EST).

Why is my software still running in demo mode after I've entered my unlock code?

After you enter in your unlock code, you must restart the application to make the changes. If the software still remains in demo mode, your user account does not have the permissions required to make changes to the registry. You must log in as an Administrator and then enter in your unlock code again. We also recommend unlocking the software as an Administrator if multiple user accounts are going to be using the software.

WIll my unlock code still work if I transfer the program to a new computer?

The unlock key should be unique to your PC so entering the same key on a second PC will not work. If you are getting a new PC and need to transfer the software to the new PC, then you should contact us to obtain a new unlock key.

Will upgrading my operating system and/or hardware components affect my unlock key?

In general, no. You should still be able to use the same unlock key. A complete reinstallation of Windows or upgrading the hard disk drive are the only two instances which may require you to obtain a new unlock key. If this happens, call us and we will be happy to assist you.
